Oilfield and production chemicals
Drilling, production and stimulation chemistry, in the packaging and volumes field operations actually order.
Scope
Upstream chemical supply is defined by volume, remoteness and timing: material has to arrive at a location that is difficult to reach, in packaging that can be handled there, before an operation that will not wait.
We supply both the commodity base chemicals that dominate the volume and the functional chemistries around them, and we plan the packaging and the shipment around the receiving location rather than around what is convenient to load.
Product families
Drilling fluid additives
Barite and weighting agents to API specification, bentonite, CMC in high and low viscosity grades, PAC-R and PAC-LV, xanthan gum, modified starch ethers, lignosulphonates and lignite derivatives, shale inhibitors, lubricants and loss-circulation materials.
Production chemicals
Demulsifiers and reverse demulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, oxygen scavengers, paraffin and asphaltene inhibitors, pour-point depressants, biocides, defoamers and water clarifiers.
Stimulation and fracturing
Friction reducers, guar and guar derivatives, crosslinkers and breakers, clay stabilisers, non-emulsifiers and surfactant packages.
EOR and polymers
Partially hydrolysed polyacrylamide, polymer flooding chemistries and surfactant-polymer systems.
Base chemicals
Glycols including MEG, DEG and TEG, methanol, amines and carrier fluids. Bulk acids and alkalis are supplied only where the buyer holds the import authorisation the destination requires for them.
Typical applications
- Drilling and completion fluids
- Production chemistry programmes
- Well stimulation
- Enhanced oil recovery
- Service company supply
What comes with the material
Every consignment travels with a batch-referenced certificate of analysis issued for that lot. A safety data sheet in the required format is provided ahead of delivery, and a technical data sheet is available for the grade before you order.
A certificate of analysis belongs to a specific production lot, so it is issued against your shipment rather than published on this page.
